Cartopy is a Python package designed to make drawing maps for data analysis and visualisation easy.
It features a fast native interface designed to help you understand and manage your source code history. GitAhead was designed by SciTools™, the makers of Understand™. It has all of the features you expect from a commercial quality client, now completely free and open source.
The USA Team is proud to present a 2019 initiative around SciTools Understand: We will show SciTools Understand off! By Showing off, we mean we will present how powerful the tool can become for you and your team. With the current roadmap, investing on Understand will become a “must” for individual users but also for the full team. We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. Also known as SciTools Understand 5 provides you with pertinent information regarding your code. Quickly see all information on functions, classes, variables, etc., how they are used, called, modified, and interacted with. Easily see call trees, metrics, references and any other information you would want to know about your code.
It features:
- object oriented projection definitions
- point, line, polygon and image transformations between projections
- integration to expose advanced mapping in Matplotlib with a simple andintuitive interface
- powerful vector data handling by integrating shapefile reading with Shapelycapabilities
